A Message to European Presidents
Dear Presidents and colleagues,
It is a pleasure for us all to be gathering once again in the city of Bregenz on the shores of the idyllic Lake Constance for the European President’s Meeting. Since we last convened in Mechelen, Belgium much has happened, such as the global pandemic, which devastated our industry. None of us were immune to its impact, therefore, the opportunity to meet again is one that is eagerly anticipated.
Our hosts in Bregenz are the Association of Austrian Chefs who have planned an interesting program for us, showcasing innovation, cuisine, and culture together with a most enjoyable social program. At the meeting on Monday, May 8th, we will have presentations from a number of speakers together with reports from the Global Chef Regional Semi-Finals, and discuss looking to the future of the forthcoming IKA Culinary Olympics in Stuttgart. There will also be an opportunity for breakout meetings if required. The European Presidents Meeting is one of the most friendly gatherings in Worldchefs and we look forward to meeting Presidents, colleagues, and partners from every region
