Honorary Life Membership is the highest award Worldchefs can bestow on an individual member to recognize his or her sustained contributions of extraordinary merit to the organization.
Applications for Honorary Life Membership are accepted every two years. Individuals must be nominated by the President of a Worldchefs National Society Member. Consideration is given to both male and female chefs within their country who have demonstrated exceptional service and commitment to the profession.
All applications must be submitted to the Honorary Life Membership Committee. Once reviewed, selected nominees will be presented to the Worldchefs Board of Directors for final consideration and approval. Please note that the number of new Honorary Life Members appointed is based on the total number of Worldchefs National Society Member Countries.
In addition, all Board Members who have completed their full term in good standing will be automatically nominated as Honorary Life Members at the next Congress.
Applications are now open for Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2026. To be considered, all applicants must submit a complete application that meets the Nomination and Selection Criteria. Please review the application guidelines carefully to ensure all required information is included.
Important: The deadline to submit nominations and completed application forms is November 30, 2025 — approximately six months before the Congress. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
