Chefs’ roles in accelerating Good Food For All

The United Nations Food Systems Pre-Summit is quickly approaching, and the Chefs’ Manifesto are hosting an affiliated Pre-Summit session titled: Chefs’ roles in accelerating Good Food for All. The purpose of the session is to promote and champion chef voices as key actors in food systems transformation. A number of chefs and partner networks will be invited to speak during the session, including Chef Chris Koetke, Worldchefs Feed The Planet Chairman.

The Chefs’ Manifesto has been working hard throughout this year to amplify chefs voices as agents of change. Together with several partner networks, we conducted a global survey, with participants from over 50 countries contributing their votes, as to the actions chefs think will have the most impact to accelerate food systems transformation. From this, we have curated a Chefs’ Pledge which we are asking chefs from all over the world to sign, as part of their commitment in this Decade of Action.
