About Michel Escoffier
Michel Escoffier is the great-grandson of the famed culinary icon, Auguste Escoffier.
Born in Paris in 1944, Michel has always lived in an international environment and enjoyed first-hand exposure to multiple cultures and foods.
As a business development consultant, he traveled extensively worldwide and became increasingly aware of the heritage left by his great-grandfather on the world of cuisine. That made him develop personal ties with the culinary industry over the years, and in particular with the leading culinary schools in France, the UK, the US, and Japan.
Since 2008, Michel has served as President of the Auguste Escoffier Foundation and Museum of Culinary Art in Villeneuve-Loubet, France, and as a Senior member on the Advisory board of Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in the US, created in 2010.
