Join Johnson County Community College (JCCC) for the 41st Annual John Joyce Culinary Competition, endorsed by WorldChefs.
Since 1985, JCCC’s hospitality management and culinary arts programs have hosted this premier event, which was renamed in 2001 to honor legendary JCCC professor John Joyce. Student chefs from JCCC and other institutions will showcase their skills in a variety of competitions, including traditional cold display, hot food cooking, and mystery box challenges.
The John Joyce Culinary Competition would not be possible without the support of the Greater Kansas City Chefs Association, the American Culinary Federation, and the dedicated judges who volunteer their time and expertise to mentor, evaluate, and inspire both student and professional competitors.
