This competition is organized by the WACS Culinary Competition Committee on behalf of the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) and this event is dedicated to Chef Hans Bueschkens, former president of WACS. During his presidency, Chef Bueschkens declared that one of his primary goals was to create programmes aimed to interest the youths by recruiting junior chefs into WACS activities. Each paid member country of WACS will be allowed to send one representative to compete in the Hans Bueschkens World Junior Chefs Challenge which will be held during the biennial WACS Congress.
