About this event
Young chefs are powerful agents of change in agrifood systems, influencing how food is sourced, prepared, valued and consumed. This interactive workshop will explore how chefs, the initiatives they create and the partnerships they build, can promote healthy and sustainable diets, strengthen local communities and turn knowledge and innovation into lasting impact.
Session objectives
This workshop aims to:
- Highlight the influential role young chefs have in agrifood systems transformation.
- Share practical lessons from successful initiatives and partnerships that have created opportunities for young chefs in sustainable agrifood systems.
- Explore how collaboration between international organizations, the private sector and youth networks can support young chefs in strengthening their influence within agrifood systems.
- Encourage participants to adapt learned best practices within their own organizations and communities.
