The International Culinary Competition of Southern Europe, which has been held since 1997, will take place in 2026 under the brand-new name “Southern Europe Culinary Challenge”.
The Southern Europe Culinary Challenge will be organized by Culinary Professionals Greece, in collaboration with TIF ELEXPO SA and with the support of Worldchefs. The competition will be arranged within the framework of the Artozyma bakery, confectionery, equipment and products expo, an annual exhibition that features the largest companies of raw materials, packaging, and equipment while highlighting the current trends that are prevailing in the sector through numerous, original, and themed events.
The Southern Europe Culinary Challenge will be held from 27 February to 2 March 2026, at the International Exhibition & Congress Centre (TIF HELEXPO SA), Thessaloniki, Greece. This year’s competition includes 26 different categories based on the rules, regulations and judging criteria as specified by Worldchefs. The main focus of this wonderful celebration of culinary professionals will be the growth of healthy competition among them, the sharing of knowledge and innovative techniques both
locally and internationally, and ultimately, their own development.
The 2023 competition has welcomed 400 students and professional chefs, as well as international judges, from 15 countries all over the world, including 27 different categories.
In addition to providing chefs from all over the world with an educational and creative platform, the Southern Europe Culinary Challenge is a singular chance to improve competitiveness. It’s more than just a competition for us. It is an opportunity for a unique tasting experience as well as a gathering place for culinary professionals!
