Under the name ‘Alimentos de España’ (Foods of Spain), the first international chef challenge competition held in Spain, sponsored by WorldChefs (World Association of Chefs Societies), will take place in Barcelona on 24 March 2026 as part of the ‘Alimentaria’ International Food Fair.
The competition is for international teams consisting of a chef (of any age) and a commis (born on or after 1 January 2001).
In order to compete, teams and participants must be endorsed by their national association, which must be a member in good standing of Worldchefs.
The winner will be proclaimed the winner of the 1st International ‘Alimentos de España’ Championship.
