We are pleased to announce that the Asia Presidents Forum October 2025 will be held in Suzhou, China on October 15-19, 2025, in conjunction with the 34th China Chefs’ Festival.
In Suzhou, a city where classical elegance meets modern vitality, this gathering will bring together the most influential leaders of culinary associations from across Asia, creating an unrivaled platform for dialogue and collaboration on the future of Asian gastronomy.
Held in parallel, the 34th China Chefs’ Festival—China’s largest and most influential annual culinary event—will enrich the programme with even greater depth and diversity. After thirty-three successful editions, the Festival has become a powerful engine for preserving China’s culinary heritage while driving innovation and fostering industry-wide exchange.
Itinerary:
15 October (Wednesday) – Arrival & Check-in
- Delegates from every Asian member country will arrive in Suzhou throughout the day to register and prepare for the days ahead.
16 October (Thursday) – Closed-Door Presidential Meeting
- The one-day, invitation-only session will focus on pivotal issues such as emerging industry trends, culinary education and talent development, food safety and hygiene, technological innovation in the kitchen, and cross-cultural gastronomy. Drawing on their collective expertise, delegates will share insights and craft actionable strategies to propel Asian cuisine forward in the coming decade.
17 October (Friday) – 34th China Chefs’ Festival Opening & Programme Highlights
- Grand Opening Ceremony – a visually spectacular showcase of China’s vast culinary heritage.
- Live Culinary Demonstrations – celebrated chefs from China and abroad will display cutting-edge techniques and creative dishes.
- Gastronomic Expo – regional delicacies from every corner of China offer delegates a first-hand taste of the country’s diverse flavours.
- Industry Forums – thought leaders, academics and business executives will dissect pressing topics and chart new directions for the sector.
18 October (Saturday) – Cultural Exchange Day
- Suzhou’s centuries-old gardens, historic streets and storied waterways will provide the backdrop for immersive cultural experiences. Delegates will visit iconic landmarks and dine in landmark restaurants specialising in Huaiyang cuisine, deepening their appreciation of Chinese culture and forging bonds that transcend borders.
19 October (Sunday) – Closing Ceremony & Departure
- The 34th China Chefs’ Festival will conclude with a closing ceremony that reviews the week’s achievements and honours outstanding individuals and teams. Delegates will then depart, enriched by new friendships, insights and inspiration that will resonate long after they leave Suzhou.
