Knife Skills is the one of the most fundamental and important skills of a chef. Atlantic Chef Cup Asian Young Chef’s Knife Skills competition is trying to create a platform for all young chefs from Taiwan and Asia to showpiece their knife skills. Atlantic Chef Cup is the first ever Worldchefs endorsed competition in Taiwan, and is also the first pure knife skills Worldchefs competition in the world. Together with Taiwan Chefs Association and Trans World University, this is our 3rd year to hold this competition.
The venue
Preliminary was taken place in Ming Tai High School, #91 Lai Yuan Rd. Wu Fong District, Taichung City, Taiwan. On 12th September, 2015. The final will be taken place in Trans World University, #1221 Zhen Nan Rd. Douliu, Yunlin County, Taiwan. On 7th November, 2015.

Competitors
310 competitors attended the preliminary, and total of 241 competitors advanced to the final. Competitors are mainly from Taiwan, and there’ll also competitors from China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Thailand in the final.
Event program
Culinary forum will be held on 6 Nov, the day before Competition.
On 7 Nov, the competition day, there’ll be the final for Western Knife Skills competition, Chinese Knife Skills competition, Japanese Knife skills competition, Fruit and Vegetable Carving live competition, & Ice Carving Competition.
Further, we required all the Worldchefs judges who come to judge the competition will have to demo some fundamental knife and cooking skills to all young chef competitors. There’ll be 6 Worldchefs A judges, 8 Worldchefs B judges, and together with 22 local judges to judge the whole competiton. The judges will be leaded by Worldchefs VP, Chef John Sloane and WCWB Chairman, Chef Willment Leong.
