The Hotel Show Dubai, now in its 22nd year, is the longest running and most trusted business event for the hospitality industry in the Middle East. 9 Teams will compete in 3 days for the Chef’s Table Trophy 2022 which is a food and beverage competition involving front of house and back of house working as a team to deliver an exceptional food and beverage experience in a competition atmosphere. Worldchefs rules shall be followed for the judging of the competition
Three teams will compete per day , each team needs to set up a dining table for 4 people suitable for an elegant dining experience, with centre piece all equipment and table linen and serve 4 guests (+ 3 portions to the Jury) the service of guests to start on arrival with a choice of 2 mocktails freshly prepared by the barman and accompanied by 3 different cold canapes. The guests are then to be seated and served a 4 course set menu consisting of a cold appetiser, a soup hot or cold, followed by a Main Course and finished with a Dessert. The end of the meal is to then be finished with a coffee creation for each guest.
In addition to the gold, silver and bronze medals available to all competing teams – there will be a grand trophy awarded to the over-all winner, with trophies also awarded to the first and second runners-up for teams.
