Natalie Lowe, CMM, CRL
Founder of Celebrate Niagara
Natalie owns and operates Celebrate Niagara, a DMC in Niagara that just celebrated their 18th year in business. She founded The Sustainable Event Forum in 2018 with a mandate to “Educate, Inspire, Collaborate and Act” on the Climate Emergency for event professionals. She produces “Earth Day for Event People” every April. Over 850 people have completed her online course, “Plan it for the Planet”, she hosts an event sustainability podcast, Planners for the Planet and writes on sustainable events for MeetingsNet and Canadian Special Events.
Natalie was inducted into the Canadian Meetings Industry Hall of Fame this past year and has received the Events Industry Council Global Award for Social Impact in 2022, the Joy Fox Award for Excellence in Innovation, and the MeetingsNet Changemaker Award. She has been recognized by WWF-Canada and the Globe & Mail as a changemaker in events and sustainability. She is a subject matter expert and thought leader on sustainable events. Known for her positive energy, straightforwardness, and thought leadership, Natalie works to create climate solutions for events that are evidence-based, effective, and practical.

Chef Christopher Koetke, CEC CCE HAAC, is currently Corporate Executive Chef at Ajinomoto Health & Nutrition North America, Inc, and the Chair of the Feed the Planet Committee of Worldchefs.
Indeed, having a 40-years experience of working in the foodservice industry and given his global travels experimenting with ingredients and flavors, Chris is a well-known expert on culinary matters. Therefore, in 2010, he was given the inaugural Chefs Collaborative Pathfinder Award for his work in making sustainability mainstream both within foodservice operations and education.
