The South African Chefs Association is proud to host the second African Culinary Cup, which will take place as part of InfoChef Africa
2014. Bringing together the top junior African national culinary teams, this competition will be a platform for young African chefs to
network and compete in a professional and inspiring environment, promoting the culinary experience, skills and abilities of young chefs
from across Africa.
All teams will have to incorporate the following into their menu:
· 3 Fresh Trout,
· Ostrich (we have secures different cuts for the teams on the day)
· A selection of Lindt chocolate (70% dark, milk and white)
· Each team will be supplied with R1200.00 to go and buy their fresh produce at a pre-selected store.
· There will be a community table available with dry ingredients on the day for all the teams to work from.
We have managed to secure the following countries for the African Culinary Cup that will take place on 2 October 2014:
