Pairing the best is an exciting brand new international culinary and mixology pairing competition created by les vergers Boiron.
This challenge will see chefs and bartenders join forces at Finale in June 2013 in Hong Kong. Creativity and pairing in food and beverage will be the key to success in this competition.
The first ever finale will be in Hong Kong on June 25th 2013 and will see eight teams of various Asian countries competing for the title.
A team consists of one culinary chef and one mixologist. Both have to be nationals of the country they represent. Each team will be required to prepare and present a well balanced three courses menu with a pairing beverage for each course.
A global vision of a balanced course and drink, the use of common ingredients, balance of flavors will be appreciated by the jury panel.
The winning team will receive the Pairing the Best trophy, a monetary award and be entitled to a trip to France, treated a Michelin Star dinner in Paris, and will discover les vergers Boiron company in South France. First runner up and second runner up will receive a monetary award and an appropriate trophy
