About the Speakers
Gabriel Estrella
Gabriel’s culinary journey commenced at ‘La Escuela de Los Chefs’ in Ecuador, where he embarked on a path that would redefine his life and career. He traveled the world to refine his skills and worked in the United Kingdom, Spain, and the United Arab Emirates. In his last culinary job he was responsible for preparing meals for elite clientele before moving to the Commercial Kitchen Equipment Manufacturing industry.
In his current role as the Regional Director for Alto Shaam, Gabriel has been instrumental in expanding the brand’s presence across the Middle East and Africa over the past eight years. His expertise and passion for connecting with fellow chefs transcends the confines of a conventional directorship. Gabriel is known for donning his chef jacket and leading from the front, conducting cooking demonstrations that not only showcase his unwavering passion but also exemplify his hands-on leadership style.
Christopher Ball
Christopher has past experience working as a Corporate Chef and as a managing director at a kitchen, laundry and waste management design firm. It was in these roles where he developed relationships with key hotel operators and restaurants in the Middle East region and strengthened his knowledge in the industry.
Currently, Christopher assumes the role of Alto-Shaam’s Regional Sales Manager in the Middle East. For the past two years, his responsibilities have included supporting Alto-Shaam’s sales activities and strategies in the region, as well as building and maintaining relationships with key customers, including channel partners, foodservice consultants, kitchen designers, key chain accounts and end users.
