Chef Ireland 2023 National Culinary Championships
The Chef Ireland 2023 – Irish Culinary Championships in association with IFSA will take place at the CATEX Exhibition in the RDS from the 21st – 23rd of February, 2023.
Entrants are coming from around the globe to compete and create eye-catching dishes that will grab the judge’s attention at this year’s Irish Culinary Championships.

A Message from the President
The Panel of Chefs of Ireland, in conjunction with the Irish Foodservice Suppliers Alliance (IFSA), Calor Gas and Corcoran Food Equipment would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the Chef Ireland Culinary Championships, which take place from Tuesday 21st to Thursday 23rd February at Catex 2023 in the Simmons Court Pavilion, RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin.
We extend a warm welcome to all competitors, sponsors, guests and visitors to the National Culinary Championship Finals.
The Culinary Committee have worked tirelessly to put together an innovative, challenging and educational Cold Salon and Live Hot Theatre competition program for senior and junior chefs, culinary art students and apprentices from all aspects of the Irish hospitality industry including Hotels, Restaurants, Gastro bars,
Bistro’s, Pastry, Sugar Craft practitioners, Corporate caterers and Service personnel.
The Panel of Chefs of Ireland’s mission is to promote excellence in all aspects of the Culinary Arts. In particular the development of craft skill training and education in Ireland. This major culinary event affords our members and all chefs throughout the island of Ireland the opportunity of displaying their exceptional culinary skills, creativity, innovation and techniques.
Our emphasis this year is to encourage young chefs to participate, visit and learn more about the skills needed to thrive in the hospitality industry.
I would like to thank our sponsors of the different competitions for their continued support and encouragement.
