NOVEMBER 2017: Worldchefs is pleased to announce a new partnership with ScanBox – a renowned Scandinavian manufacturer of thermo-products for transport of both hot and cold food. ScanBox joins Worldchefs as Equipment Partner for the Global Chefs Challenge that will take place at the Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2018, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

ScanBox is specialised in producing thermo-products for holding and transporting hot and cold food. With over 25 years of experience in supplying solutions for hotels, restaurants and institutions globally, they pride themselves as a smaller and more independent manufacturer with the flexibility to customise products. With products designed to be flexible, lightweight and built with a modular concept, it allows them to have a big product line on the market within a niche focus area.

“The Global Chef Challenge is an international competition that has set very high standards in the world of culinary competitions. At the competition, we always ensure our competitors are equipped with the best, which is why equipment partners such as ScanBox are such an integral part of this programme, so as to ensure the final culinary creation is served at its best,” says Thomas Gugler, Worldchefs President.

“At ScanBox we are delighted to be supporting Worldchefs for the Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2018 in KL Malaysia. ScanBox is a smaller privately owned Scandinavian manufacturer, who specialize in hot and cold banqueting carts, therefore it’s an honour to be working with experienced Chefs within the Worldchefs organization,” says Ole Lyngdahl Olsen, VP Sales at ScanBox.

As Equipment Partner, ScanBox will be present at the biennial hallmark Worldchefs Congress & Expo event – Asia on a Plate.
