KLCC executive chef Hisham Bin Jaafar recently met with Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau CEO Datuk Zulkefli Hj Sharif and Worldchefs president Thomas Gugler for a pre-event meeting at the venue.
Chef Hisham said the KLCC team is excited to host the Worldchefs Congress and Expo next year.
“Worldchefs is the global authority on food and their congress is a hallmark tradition of the association and has been organised in over 20 cities across the world throughout its illustrious 82-year history,” he said.
“The 2018 congress will be its first time in Malaysia and only the second occasion in the organisation’s history that the event will be held in South-east Asia.
“Our award-winning chefs will ‘leave no stone unturned’ in our efforts to showcase the best produce and ingredients Malaysia has to offer and to ensure these culinary experts have a truly unique Malaysian gastronomic experience they will never forget.”
