How can you get Certified?
There are two basic paths to getting certified – the Global Path and the Global Fast-Track Path.
GLOBAL PATH
1.Choose your level. Select the certification level which best corre- sponds to your current experience.There are nine levels to choose from,from Commis Chef to Master Chef, as well as a certification for culinaryeducators.
2. Apply. To start your application, you will need to register for certifi-cation online, and submit the enrolment fee (purchase a badge).
3. Complete your application. Tell us about yourself, your skills andyour experience. A qualified industry expert will then evaluate your application. Once you have achieved your certification, you can display your badge to stand out to employers.You will also receive a certificate.
GLOBAL FAST-TRACK PATH
Some schools and associations have partnered with Worldchefs to linktheir certifications to the Worldchefs Global Culinary Certification. If you have, or are earning a certificate from one of these partners, you are automatically eligible for the global certification – visit the Worldchefs website for a list of partners at www.worldchefs.org/Certification/fast-track, or check with your certificate granting institution to confirm if youare eligible.
